Search optimization and marketing are not cookie cutter tasks. We bill all SEO and SEM work at $100 per hour. Consulting is not free. If you want us to tell you what we are going do or what you should do to improve your website then you will billed for consulting at our hourly rate. The following are guidelines and estimates to give you an idea of what it might cost to achieve better results for your Internet business.
Basic SEO
If you have a small niche business that has had zero SEO work performed then we can usually complete what we call basic SEO for $75 per page. That's an estimate of 3/4 of an hour per page. However this estimate does not include the initial keyword research that would be required for your industry. If it takes less time per page then you save money because we bill only for the time it takes.
Advanced SEO
Advanced on-page optimization, content creation and optimization, and link building are billed by the hour. Our copy writing rate is only $80 per hour. We don't offer per word pricing because research time is different for each market. A car wash site should not pay the same per-word rate as a bio conversion company.
Social Media
If you need help with social networking then we can charge by the hour to help you set up your social networking accounts. Figure about 2.5 hours for us to help you set up your Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn accounts. This usually includes some time to help you get started using the services.
Pay-Per-Click
PPC campaigns for Google AdWords and the Microsoft Ad Network are time consuming when done right. We need to spend time researching your industry and evaluating keywords. We have to research your competitors and then we have to start doing the actual work on the campaigns and ads. We only charge for actual time but you should budget $400 to $600 for a small niche company with a few ad campaigns and less than 250 keywords. The more keywords we target and the more ad groups needed the more it costs. Landing page costs are not included and we highly recommend that you do not link your ads to your main web page.
Landing Pages and Conversion Optimization
Some of the best money you can spend is on conversion optimization. A quality landing page that has been tested and compared can result in an increase in sales but it can also decrease your cost per conversion. If you research conversion optimization you will often see the words "test, test, test" and those words always ring true.
