Although Bliznet was started in 1995 we were not incorporated as Blizzard Digital Corporation until 2000.
In 1995 David Blizzard started providing Internet tech support for the Ellijay Telephone Company under the name Blizzard Computers. As the Internet grew in Ellijay and the surrounding North Georgia communities like Jasper GA and Blue Ridge we started providing commercial web hosting and design services under the name Bliznet.
The natural progression was to provide search engine optimization and placement as well as Internet marketing. Blizzard now has some of the best talent in North Georgia starting with Kyle, our lead designer and programmer. Kyle is an exceptional C# programmer and XHTML/CSS master. Alan, our SEO specialist, copy writer, and web designer is a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta and he is also a certified Google AdWords professional. Our project manager, Amy, makes sure everything comes together on time. She also keeps the guys in check by adding a women's touch to each project.
Our web team is backed up by Eric who has been involved in a number of web projects and got his start in the computer business at Radio Shack way back when the Tandy TRS-80 was popular. Clint is called upon for new site setup, DNS services, web and mail server management, and customer support. David Blizzard continues to oversee the day to day operations and provides his expertise when it is requested or needed.
